I am wearing this dress in black

with black satin bow heels, a black short-sleeved shrug, and a gold clutch





I have extremely long, thick black wavy/curly hair, no bangs, that I usually wear tied up in a ponytail and the skin color of the avatar





what should I do for my hair, makeup, and jewelry?

i think you should put up all of your hair to enhance the design and cut of the dress and since you have a gold clutch you will need some gold jewelry(obviously) i dont think a necklace would be good for that, maybe a nice gold bracelet and some cute earrings. Winter formal hair/makeup/jewelry?
I think i would lose the shrug to be honest that dress is nice to be covered up. Definately set your hair in rollers big and the front and get smaller towards the back heated rollers work the best. Make up probably do a gold shimmery eye with black eyeliner on the top lid and a few coats of mascara and a bit of berry blush. Jewelery go for some gold studs or sort of a chandeleir one , i wouldnt add a necklace it would be OTT with the dress just add a few chunky bangles.
