-xoxo, ReniPageant Hair/MakeUp/Outfit Tips???
Well, i think out of those songs, Glamorous would be the best one. Go for a gilltery stand out costume.
Mkae-up. Do not go to heavy, You want to wear more makeup then normal but you dont want to over due it. make sure the colors you wear blend good with your face and the lipstick you choose to wear is also the right color. and making sure to look age appropriate is really important.Pageant Hair/MakeUp/Outfit Tips???
wear an outfit that shows your personality
like a specific color to make a bold statement.
makeup i would say light simpy makeup
for hair idk depends the length and your face
good luck %26lt;3
I competed in National American Miss Wisconsin Jr.Teen '06, and now I'm competing again in '08.
Here are a few things I have learned:
Formal Wear-
1.) When I competed, everyone on top 20 had a puffy dress, so I highly suggest that.
2.) Don't wear anything short, or too relvealing. Strapless is fine, but make sure that your whole chest isnt exposed.
3.) Walk with confidence, and smile when on stage.
4.) The backdrop is always black, so having a black, or very dark colored dress would blend too much.
5.) Most pageants are in the summer, so choose a bright colored dress such as pink, orange, red, white, and bright blue.
6.) When waiting for your escort to come, dont look behind you to make sure he is coming, because he will.
7.) When choosing your escort, its better to choose a family member like an older brother, father, or grand-father. Not a boyfriend.
8.) If you are nervous onstage, dont play with your dress, just leave your arms gracefully at your sides.
9.) Walk as if the crown is already on your head, look forward, and not at your feet if you have to walk down a step. Hold your head high, and shoulders back, but not back so far that you are sticking your chest out.
10.) National American Miss looks for natural girls, so when applying make up, dont put on everything you own. Wear eyeshadow, blush, mascara, and something on your lips. There is no need to load on eyeliner, and dont make your blush look like you just got sunburnt. It should be noticeable, but not distracting.
11.) Leave your hair natural looking. If you decide to wear it up, dont go all out. Something simple looks nice. And if you wear it down, you can leave it all natural, straighten it, or put curls in. If you choose curls, again, dont go all out. Curl the ends and the middle, but dont make your hair stand way out. Simple is best.
Introduction-
1.) When selecting your buisiness suit, choose something that makes a statement. Black is very traditional and boring, so choose something fun that grabs the attention of the judges.
2.) You want to look sophisticated in your suit, but not like a 90 year old woman who is going to church, so buy a modern woman suit that is teen looking.
3.) Speak with confidence.
4.) Make your intro breif, if you babble on forever you will lose their attention.
5.) Emphesize your name, but not what comes before it. At my pageant, lots of girls would say: ....from chicago Illinois, I AM Brittany Smith. There is no need to emphesize the I AM part, its just annoying.
6.) When stating your ambition, say why it is your ambition. Do not say this:
Hello my name is Brittany Smith, Im 15 years old from Chicago IL, and my future ambition is to be a teacher.
Something better would be:
Good morning Judges and audience. My name is Brittany Smith from Chicago IL. I enjoy playing basketball and shopping. My future ambition is to become a teacher because I have a passion for working with children.
Make sure to state why you have that ambition.
Interview-
1.) Smile at the judges and make eye contact.
2.) Sit up straight.
3.) The judges just want to get to know you, so dont be intimidating.
4.) When the judges ask you a question, make sure you say as many things about yourself as possible.
Example-
What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is pink because it is bright and exciting just like I am.
Dont just say ';pink';.
5.) Sit up straight, and having a good resume helps a lot.
In general-
TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES.
You want to remember everything from pageant weekend.
Be confident with everything you do.
Its ok to interact with the other girls. Everyone is extremely nice, not stuck up like you may think.
Make as many friends as you can because that will make your experience even better.
Stay at the host hotel. I learned the hard way. Its a lot easier.
Be yourself and have fun!
Anything else just ask.
xoxo.
Patience
hair, this idea works for long bangs or short bangs

(sorry it's not the greatest pic)
makeup, i would do a lighter color lip gloss and a sparkly eye shadow
outfit, something that is cute and your comfortable in, and that you think is dressy enough etc.
I think you should do Tattoo By Jordin Sparks because it is a fabulous song,
i wouldn't do Glamorous cause it does have swear words in it.
I'm also 13 and this can be hard!
for the music, i suggest Promise Ring by Tiffany Evans
http://youtube.com/watch?v=woiAlFN-Fas
i think it`s easier to dance to
i can`t really give you hair or makeup or outfit suggestions since i dont know what your body or face structure is, sorry, but try..
suggestion1-long waves like the victoria`s secret supermodels
suggestion2-the rihanna cut (a short bob, shorter on one side)
