Need a new hair & makeup routine?

I'm in college now and need to update my makeup routine. I just finished off my old makeup so its time to go shopping for more. Can anyone help me with a new look? Specifics and products would be great :)


what i used to wear:


tinted moisturizer (i'd be willing to keep this as i have sensitive skin and foundations tend to feel heavy and irritate my skin)


mineral powder


black eyeliner


lipbalm and some lipgloss





as for my hair- it goes between straight and wavy, so either style is fine, just not very curly(i dont have the bone structure for it.. i look slightly cherub-ish with those tight little curls).

Try different colors of eyeliner, and different applications of it.. for example, with brown eyes, plum eyeliner accents them beautifully. sometimes just the application makes the look too. you can make it thicker, thinner, how it comes together at the corner of your eye, how close to the inner corner of your eye you start (to make your eyes seem larger or smaller) just try a lot of different styles and see what you like best





Eyeshadow, even if it's natural tones for your skin, just gives it a glow and accents your eyes. try the 3-color sets Maybelline has out, Fiery Sunset works great for my skintone. Wouldn't hurt to have a couple sets of darker and brighter eyeshadows for night time or going out





Mascara is the perfect final touch to the eyes, the big orange tube of covergirl mascara (can't remember the exact name) is AMAZINGNeed a new hair %26amp; makeup routine?
- for hair a good idea can be to scrunch it. either when its wet or dry,





for dry.. use mousse, then i suggest Dream Curls by John Frieda. then aussie sprunch spray


same for wet without and mousse and u can also use gel

if you have very sensative skin the a good brand to use for foundation is lancome, although its a little more expensive, they have certain kinds that wont irritate ur skin. try using a new color eyeliner like a coal color or medium brown and mascara, u can also try tinted lipbalm

cut your hair a bit , get some bangs :D , you'll look great , kat's make up is fun %26amp; cute .. A cut would defiantly do it as far as a new look goes ..
hm. You're kinda like me. I would add some eye shadow if I were you though. I'm ALL for MASCARA too!!!! As for your hair, STRAIGHT!!! I'm always straightening mine. I think straight hair looks totally AWESOME!!!
look for airbone cosmetics i think they have a web site they have really good all natural make up. almost everything is good out of it.
For your hair you could try ringlets that wouldn't be tight curl just like a more styled wave rags tend to be best if you want to be able to do it you self or you can get it permed with special cone shaped curlers if you want it to be more permanent. If you decide to just keep straightening it the trevor sorbie hair products are great and really work. For your make up you should wear mascara and i find the rimmel london lash max or magnify eyes work best and the second one is water proof i also think concealer is good i use touche eclat by Yves saint laurent but is costly. For lip i think lip gloss is great and especially like the nivea one as the come in different Colors and tend to taste not to bad. I think as well it is important to you face creams to protect you skin i find botanics works well the one with the spf 15 in it to protect you skin from the sun i would say to keep using eye liner to.
