Prom 2008, Hair/Makeup?

Ok, so my boyfriend lives almost two hours away and it's his senior prom this year so he asked me if I could go with him to his prom. The problem lies in the fact that he lives two hours away and I wont get there until soon before the prom. I'm not sure what I should do with my hair and makeup. I am not good with this sort of stuff...so I was really hoping to have a stylist do my hair...but I can't make an appointment with a place two hours away that I've never been to. And I DEFINITELY can't do my own hair. I was thinking about asking his mom to help me, but I don't think that's the best idea either....helpppProm 2008, Hair/Makeup?
You can look great without hours of preparation. If you look more natural, it'll show you have confidence. Nothing is more sexy than confidence.





But if you insist on it, what I'd suggest is this--if you have straight hair, don't spend hours making it curly. Just make it a bit more straight. If you have curly hair, don't straighten it, just do something to make the curls stand out more. Maybe apply a bit of mascara, lip gloss and blush, and always curl your lashes. Hey girl! trust me i know the feeling. Except a bit different. This year is my boyfriends senior prom as well. I want to look great but my mom refuses to spend to much money since its not my prom. So this year im getting a friend of mine whos going to prom as well to do my hair and makeup. Maybe you should look up some hair styles or tips to doing good makeup and do your hair and make up yourself ( so you dont spend to much money). Im sure you'll look beautifull no matter what!

jst use a curling iron %26amp; curl ur hair it looks really good!!
maybe if its possible - ask to stay a day early and sleep on the couch or something so you have all day to prepare at his place and wont spend 2 hours of it driving. or ask his mom to make an appointment for you at a place she reccomends or do a ';yahoo local'; search and type in something like ';hair salon'; because people can write reviews on places. if none of that is an option try just asking his mom to help. it doesn't have to be fancy to be beautiful! just loose curls or or something can look amazing! as for makeup it depends on your dress color, eye color, skin %26amp; hair color and all that jazz so ask some friends what colors would look best with your dress %26amp; your look.
pull your hair to the side, low ponytail-like, and start curling.. (long curls tho) some from the front may fall out if u have layers and that just makes it look perfect.. so as the night goes on it wont get all messy and ugly this way anyway if ur doin it yourself.
Well ask your mom and a simple shower and a straitner and or a curler would help maybe 5 hours before the prom go get your hair done in your neibour hood or go to your best friends house or sokmething....
I'm not very good but here's what I would do if you can't do your hair just brush it and leave it down (or if you have any curling or straightening tongs use those for a better effect). For makeup try a bit of blush on your cheeks to make them more rosier and with the eye shadow try to harmonise the colour with the thing you are going to wear and black eye liner and mascara gives a very powerful effect. For the lips just put on some lip gloss. Hope that helps.

I think the best thing is for you and your mom to do the makeup and hair because you can make it look really pretty and it will be simple to do.
