I need help uploading hair, clothes, makeup etc. onto Sims 2?

I want to download hair, makeup, etc. onto my Sims 2 game from this site: http://www.raonsims.com/main/main.php But when I download something, I don't know how I am suppose to upload it onto the game. I've unzipped the folder, but I'm not sure what to do from there. Help pleaaase?I need help uploading hair, clothes, makeup etc. onto Sims 2?
what you do is when you download the item from the website you are suppose to extract the item to the downloads folder (you have to make the folder by urself and put it in the sims 2 directory) when you open up the game you see like this little bluish purplelish page tht says at the bottom

and there should be a box like right beside them mark the box tht says enable custom content and then and there should be an x tht appears in the box....if you need anymore help just email me up okI need help uploading hair, clothes, makeup etc. onto Sims 2?
*DON'T* listen to the above. Torrents are 9/10 Trojans and viruses, and an ISO is usually used to download the actual game, not Custom content.





Okay here we go.





FIRST: You say you've downloaded some custom content from the site, and have unzipped it. You need to locate where you have unzipped these files and move them into your





C:\My Documents\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\Downloads Folder.


I use WinRAR, because it's easy and you don't need Q-Xpress installer.





Since you say you have already unzipped them, then you're finished.





SECOND: The custom content (downloads) will load on start up. To be sure, the game will ask you once loaded if you want to display the content. Click the box by enable. Now, quit the game.





THIRD: Re-run the game, it should ask you again if you want to enable or disable custom content. The box by enable should already be checked. If not, repeat the second step.





FOURTH: Go into any neighborhood you please, click onto the settings button. It's a circle with 3 dots. Looks simular to this (...). Once opened click around on the game play options i think, and it will ask you if you want to display the enable or disable custom content on startup click no, or disable. (Can't remember.)





FIFTH: Load a lot, or go to Create-A-Sim and enjoy your new content!

REMEMBER: Only download content compatible with your installed expansion packs. Never mess with files that you have no idea what they're for. Always back up your files in case you make a mistake. Don't download more than your computer can handle, and always ALWAYS download at your own risk! =]

download stuff from the simsresource.com its easier to upload and it makes more sense. i hope i helped [=
