Hair/Makeup Help? Please read!?

I'm looking to tweak my look a little bit to make myself look better. I know my makeup isn't very flattering and my hair is okay at best. I'd love straightforward, honest opinions from both males and females, so all would be appreciated. Naturally, my hair has a natural wave in the back and my hair goes in all different directions which is why I straighten it. What style would look good for my face shape? I have light brown hair (natural), hazel-blue eyes and relatively pale skin. Currently, I use bare minerals on my skin. Any makeup tips personalized to my look that would be okay for me? I'm a little confused and would rather not look like a clown. :/

PS. Sorry that I posted this again, I put it in the wrong category.Hair/Makeup Help? Please read!?
i think for you have really strong features. which is really beautiful. i think that all of that make up takes away from your features. i think you should stick to a bronzer and a light brown eyeliner and mascara. thats all you really need. i think that when your hair is wet you should try putting a jel in it and see what it looks like wavy. i think that this would help even more accent your features. :]

-hope this helps:)Hair/Makeup Help? Please read!?
You're really pretty!!! However... I think you're wearing too much makeup. Try a shade of brown eyeshadow, and some eyeliner but only on the top lid. Maybe a little on the bottom lid too. Your skin looks good... but on the days when you feel pale you should try some bronzer ( Maybelline has a great one-- it's the dream mousse kind). As for your hair It looks good already. Good luck Hope this helps ;D
I would try a nice bronzer.
I'd lighten up! You look too young to be wearing that much makeup (i.e., foundation, powder). Your skin would look much more radiant if you used less of those products. I'd also lay off on the multiple coats of lip gloss. Emphasize one feature (eyes, lips, or cheeks) and tone down the rest, so you don't look ridiculous or overly made up. Overall, you're on the right track though. Your eye makeup is gorgeous!
i think you should keep everything as is.

i looked at the pics and your gorgeous.

:)
you look really pretty(:

all I would reccomend is maybe letting your brows grow in a little and toning down you makeup a little

I agree with the others that you're pretty. I think you look great just the way you are. Do what you're comfortable with but I personally think natural looking makeup is the best for day time. You can wear dramatic makeup for a night out.
A nice look is one thats natural, this does not require much what so ever, just a light hand, you don't want to put too much heavy makeup on and makeup that is too dark for your skin tone, then it will look harsh. You are a very pretty young woman,I see from your pics, that it looks like your wearing very black eyeliners, you have pretty colored eyes,by using darker liners around your eyes, yo are taking away from the natural color of your eyes, do you want people to notice the color of your eyes?, or the color of your liner and shadows?

Choose a foundation that is close to your skin tone, a good way to do this is if you go to a mall, they usually have sample products that you can try on for free, after you find a color that best matches your skin tone, you can buy it directly from there or remember the shade and try to find one like it in a drugstore or a place like Wal-Mart, it would be a lot cheaper there. When you get the foundation home ,just take a small amount and place little dots of it around your face, some on the forehead, a couple of spots on your cheeks, a little on your nose and under the bottom of your jaw, ready?, then gently blend those areas of foundation into your face, when you get to the cheek spots, blend it into an outward direction towards your ears and hairline.Make sure that area is blended well, or you could end up with lines of demarcation ( lines) where you left off.

A natural shade of blush is a plus, go with a few shades darker than your foundation, neutral tones work great, soft peaches are a good choice as well as soft pinks, you want your blush to look natural, not like you took a paintbrush and made 2 perfect circles.Get yourself a nice wide natural bristle blush brush for applying the blush, the ones that come with blush, are usually too tiny and made of acrylic bristles, take your finger and feel for your cheekbones, thats where your going to apply your blush, start from the inside of you face, then with a sweeping upward motion, extend it outwards towards the outer part of your face.

Choose a shade of eye shadow that enhances the natural color of your eyes, try to stay away from colors that are too dark or too ';Loud';, go for a more natural look.Choose soft shades. personally I like pinks, baby soft pinks, it can be flattering on anyone at any age, but use your best judgement.

As far as eyeliner goes, try to stay away from blacks, they look very harsh and take away from the natural color of the eye.Go for a subtle look, by using soft brown , try the wide or fat eyeliner pencils , they are easier to use and easier to blend in, then the liquid liners that they sell and you need a steady hand to apply it, and since your just starting out, I would not suggest liquid liner.

Take your eye liner pencil, starting from the inside corner under the lower lash line of your eye and extend the line to the outside of the eye, doesn't matter how heavy you make the line, because you are going to take a clean dry q-tip and gently smudge it, this will leave a softer look, and you won't get that perfect drawn line, thats something that you want to avoid.

As far as your hair, try a spiral curling iron by placing some curls around the face to frame it softly, or have a stylist just add some layers fringing them to the front of your face, this way you are not losing the length, and this will create fullness and being that your hair has some natural wave, give it a soft look.

here is a link to my pic, to show you how pinks can be flattering, I will be fifty in March, BTW, I am an ex hairdresser.

Remember less is more, just go with a soft and more feminine look, you will be glad you did.
