What eye makeup should i use, brown hair blue eyes?

hi i have brown hair, %26amp; blue eyes, with yellow in the middle, what eye makeup would look good?

-thanks!!What eye makeup should i use, brown hair blue eyes?
As a general rule, those with blue eyes should look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

If you are looking for an edgier or more dramatic evening look, mixing black liner with a bright blue will give you a classic “ smoky” effect. You can also throw in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise if you are going out and want a funky nighttime feel.

Those with blue eyes have the distinct advantage of being able to wear a wide array of eyeshadow colors without a lot of mishaps. Blue eyes are agreeable to many shades, however, the ones listed above are the ones proven to be among the best.

Violets and lavenders are most recommended for those possessing a combination of baby blues and blonde hair. This is because a light purple is the most flattering for most blondes who tend to have fairer skin than those with darker hair.

You can use violet on the creases of your eyelids as well as on the lid in general. A lighter lavender above the crease will give you a more dramatic look for evenings. More neutral colors are ideal for daytime, but it's always fun to wear purple no matter what the time or season!

For those blessed with naturally red hair, brown shades will tend to work better on your blue eyes. Since your hair is already such a vibrant color, your skin tone and eyes will demand a more natural looking shadow.

Tans and browns can flatter the shape and shade of your eyes without overpowering your hair or other features. In the evenings, adding a gold shimmer is a great finishing touch for those with gorgeous, fiery hair and contrasting blue eyes

Alright so when it comes to make-up i always go to art. On the color wheel the opposite of blue is orange. They contrast eachother and make eachother pop! so i would go with a reddish pinkish orangish color for the lid, and just a slight shimmery white for the accent. also said that dark blue makes blue eyes pop, but sometimes that makes you look a little over dramatic. so if you are going for clean i would go for the orange, red, or pinks, and dramatic- blues or violets. Also browns look good for a natural look

AND STAY AWAY FROM BLACK EYELINER! black eyeliner takes away from the eyes- i would stick with a brown. Almay has color accent palets for blue eyes, and they also have eyeliner for blue eyes (which i LOVE!) its a deep brown. and dont go too thick on the eye liner. make-up is to enhance your features. when you look in the mirror you want to see you- not the makeup!
Hi, I have the same coloring and I find that using makeup colors on the opposite spectrum of the color wheel really make your eyes have that ';WOW'; factor. So, for blue eyed beauties like us, these work best:

yellows

golds

oranges

reds

browns

taupes

and everything in between.

Experiment with different colors until you find the one you like best! Hope this helps!

Here's the color wheel:

play up those eyes! since you have brown hair and that's a contrasting color to blue your eyes already stand out.

for day to day you want to use neutrals with a pop! so browns taupe's beige's and coppers with a hint of shimmer.

for can also use plums purples and golds if your a little more gutsy

always always liner and mascara! a warm dark brown or black will make your eyes pop!

:-)

hope this was helpful cause im a licensed makeup artist and esthetician
I would try using a darker blue, in order to bring out the blue in your eyes and for it to be dark enough to contrast your hair color. When in doubt, bring out the eyes!
id say purple or like a red
