New school year...hair...makeup..plz!?

I am going to be starting 8th grade soon. I have medium-length black curly hair. It is not super curly..more loose.


Any cute hair syle ideas?


I also want to do something cool with my makeup...any cool tricks?


We can wear ribbons, nail polish, and jewelery...


Any cool nailpolish ideas?


Any other things would be great!

As far as make up goes, the trick is to look like you don't have any on at all. try getting eyeliner and just putting it on your top lids (kind of like an old fashioned pin up girl) and mascara, but just put it on the top lashes (eye lash curlers help too). then you can get a fun lip gloss or a bright colored lipstick, the less you do with your eyes, the more you can do with your lips, and vice versa. otherwise, if you do too much on both, you'll just look like you have clown makeup on. (A little bit of blush goes a long way too. Just put a VERY little bit on the apples of your cheeks) As far as nail polish goes, you can do a lot with that. Just get a bunch of colors (walgreens always has a bunch on sale), and mix and match them. You can put a base coat on, and then when that dries, get another color and make polka dots on top. You can also buy at home french manicure kits, where it gives you nail polish and stencils and stuff so they look really nice. And as far as your hair goes, that loose/wavy look is definitely in. Try wearing it with just the sides pinned back, and the rest flowing.

i have medium length loose curls too, and what i do is spritz a sea-salt spray after i get out of the shower and blow dry it with a diffuser. it gives you that casual-chic look that mK olsen and sienna miller have.
